"(...) I work mostly with media of all kinds, from video, photography, paintings, sometimes advertisement, marketing via Internet and this rebounding relationship with a reality of mediation perceived at the individual level triggers my interest, more than the one understood subjectively or in a phenomenological way, that is concomitant realities, whether collective or societal which intersect, their interactions with identity, memory, temporality, a given space. The Internet is a rather specific media because it allows strange situations as I said earlier which correspond to moments of 24hours, localized or global spaces confronted to a location and one individual experience. I certainly consider the Internet at a more symbolic level in relationship to our daily reality - I do not belong to a technological system which consists of generating new technologies to be grafted upon the Internet and thus supports the modern, progressive or positivist orders- I am only interested in the human experience brought up by this particular media. (...)"

A minimal text study ("Memory") is showing some sentences fragments wich are combining a subject "I" to a verb. Otherwise each sentences are in a different color: These colors depend to the last or to the next sentence. The eye is able to perceive a minimal part of the infinite virtual repetition : The images are succeeding so quickly for our retinal memory, that a continuity is perceived on a emotional way at the opposite of cognitive perception. An art installation is made with littles wax leaves. Inside there are contaminated people (by epidemic) confessions (sent on anonyme way by email). Every contaminated person who wants, will be able to send by email a confession about what it makes her getting pain from others . A hidden memory about pain like illness will be born . A wax accumulation will grow in the installation constituting a protest against all exclusions. Valéry Grancher 1995

Tell about your home life: All emails will be shown on a wall in an art installation called "Topoï". In front of this wall there is a screen where we can see this homepage . This art work will constitue an architecture wich is becoming archetypal. The first blog in the world, even several years before instagram !!! I produced this piece as an online performance by posting photos as a timeline during one year 1997, 1 years and half before the first blog... 'Time Image' is an artwork based on various images classified on a chronological way. They have as a title: the place, the date and time where and when they were shot. These images are like 'post it'. A new kind of calendar made of daily topographies is appearing.
